FTE’s Economics for Leaders

This program represents a unique experience in economic education that brings together teachers and students from across the country who want to improve their understanding of economics. A primary goal of this program is to provide teachers with lesson plans and activities, economics content instruction, and a networking opportunity with other teaching professionals. Both new and experienced teachers will benefit from attending this program. This class is required for those teachers wishing to earn the CCEE Certificate in Secondary Economic Education . $150 FTE stipend available to participants who commute to the program. Lodging, materials and most meals provided.

Grades: 6-12 Teachers; 11-12 Students
Place: University of Colorado, Boulder
Time: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
FEE: $200 deposit payable to FTE ($100 registration fee and a $100 refundable deposit)
Optional Credit: 3 UCCS ECON Grad. Credit Hrs., available. Credit is good for Certificate in Economic Education..
