Paul Kasriel is senior vice president and director of economic research for The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, where he directs economic forecasting. The accuracy of Paul’s 2008 economic forecast was ranked in the top five by The Wall Street Journal. In January, the WSJ and Forbes cited Mr. Kasriel as one of the few to identify early-on the formation of the housing bubble and to foresee the economic and financial market havoc that would ensue once the bubble inevitably burst.

Mr. Kasriel is known for his straightforward economic and financial market commentaries that often differ from the conventional wisdom. He is the co-author of “Seven Indicators That Move Markets”, published by McGraw-Hill.

Please join us to hear what one of our country’s most incisive economic thinkers has to say about the current state of the economy, the impact of the unprecedented federal intervention and the prospects for recovery.
