Often overlooked in traditional history curricula are the insights that the economic way of thinking adds to social, political and geographic perspectives. To help rectify the oversight, CCEE brings to all secondary teachers of American history a one day workshop from the Foundation for Teaching Economics – Economic Forces in American History. The workshop will focus on three topics – the Constitution as an Economic Document; Wars and the Economy; and Immigrants and the American Workforce. Participants will leave with enhanced content knowledge and classroom-ready lessons on each topic to share with your students.
