The Council for Economic Education and CCEE are partnering to offer Colorado teachers a unique learning experience.  As a result of two generous grants from State Farm and McGraw-Hill we are offering you a pair of free online learning modules (normally $150 each) and, if you complete either module, a free publication.

The two modules are:

  1.  Virtual Economics (1200 K-12 lesson plans on a CD-ROM--a $100 value).

  2.  Capstone:  Exemplary Lessons for High School Economics (Teacher’s Guide and Student Activities books with 45 lessons and a $64 value).

As an extra incentive to complete either module CCEE will issue a “contact hours” letter to each teacher who finishes the assignment.  The Virtual Economics module normally takes about 1 hour so you will receive a letter for re-licensure for “1 contact hour.”  The Capstone module takes about 4 hours so you will receive a letter for “4 contact hours.”

Time if of the essence because this is a national program and the offer ends December 31, 2009.
