$5,000 for 25 Colorado Personal Financial Literacy Teachers

Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company, a leading financial services company, recognizes the need for fundamental classroom changes to meet new financial literacy requirements in Colorado. Great-West, in partnership with the Colorado Jump$tart Coalition, is proud to have created the Great-West Great-Teachers financial literacy grant initiative to assist teachers in developing financial literacy education programs for students K-12.  Great-West will award up to 25 Colorado public school teachers a $5,000 grant for use during the 2011 – 2012 school year to support financial education programs in their classrooms.  Support provided by the Great-West  Life Assurance Company.  www.greatwestgreateachers.com
