The Credit Crisis and Your Money
In 1907 the U.S. experienced a financial crisis that has been called the “perfect storm” by historians and economists. In 2008 the U.S. is experiencing another financial storm—the largest since the Great Depression. Where did this storm come from? This time around we are facing a global economic contraction. This class will examine the domestic and global responses—both governmental and private. What do economists recommend now? How will the macro credit problems affect consumer credit?
