Employment and Labor
Markets
What
can economics teach us about jobs and careers? All employees make a trade-off
between work and leisure. Teachers will learn how employers make hiring
decisions and how to advise students about how education affects their wages and
employment prospects. Discover how labor markets work and how migration and
minimum wage impacts employment. Help students understand their own human
capital and how to increase it for their long-term benefit.
