Introduction to Financial
Literacy for Classroom Teachers
This
class is for K-12 teachers who are interested in learning more about the
Personal Financial Literacy Model Content Standards that the Colorado Department
of Education has recently adopted. At this workshop you will be able to explore
the multitude of outstanding educational materials. In addition, you will
network with other educators pursuing specialization in teaching financial
literacy. This class is being offered in conjunction with the Colorado JumpStart
Coalition—a group of organizations committed to advocating better financial
literacy for youth. You will have an opportunity to browse through the exhibits
filled with resources for your classroom.
