1As the primary mission of CCEE is to train teachers, registration priority will be given to active teachers (including substitutes). We love to see retired teachers and even members of the general public at our seminars but a seat will be reserved for these persons on a space-available basis.

Over the past 30 years, China has grown at historically unprecedented rates. This seminar explores the changing incentives that motivated this growth and the problems that have arisen with its transformation from economic laggard to economic leader. Key issues to be explored are the sources of Chinese growth, implications of Chinese growth for the US economy, sustainability of Chinese pro-growth policies, and implications for the global economy of slowing Chinese growth.
