High levels of unemployment in the United States will be one of the key economic
issues of the 2012 elections. But how much unemployment really exists? Can the
government fix the unemployment problem? Or should it just get out of the way?
This seminar will explore the sources and consequences of the current
unemployment problem and examine the process of job creation in the US economy
today.
