Why America is Going Broke
Join this
class to discover engaging ways to teach about how the U.S. is mis-managing
money. Students understand big issue ideas through concrete and relevant
activities. The faculty will share concepts, games and activities that teach
the macroeconomic consequences of national over-spending. This class will
help you answer student questions, such as, why the U.S. has a $14 trillion
national debt?; and how much longer can the U.S. continue to spend deficit
spend? As citizens, students should be vitally concerned that future
projections for both the national debt and the deficit indicate bankruptcy
ahead for the nation. As teachers, we need to know the facts so we can guide
classroom conversations appropriately.
