For 6-12 Grade Teachers

Economics of Alternative Energy:

What is the new energy economy going to look like? Can the U.S. become more energy efficient, cleaner and more self-sufficient? Learn about the economic costs and benefits of alternative energy sources and systems. In this class you will learn about the emerging biomass industry, the growing interest in wind power, and the on-going research in biofuels. Finally, you will learn about the latest efforts to increase the efficiency of traditional fossil fuel sources.
