For K-12 Grade Teachers

Economics for Educators (ECON 501):

Learn about the many impacts of economics on current events. Explore market mechanisms, economic systems, and the impact of global trade from the comfort of your home. This class is required for teachers wishing to earn the Certificate in Economic Education. The Certificate is a joint project of CCEE and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and is a springboard to professional advancement. This online course is designed to be K-12 “teacher friendly.” Teachers read assignments during the week and take a quiz each weekend. The online format provides ample opportunity to ask questions of the professor and fellow teachers.

  • Location: Online Class

  • Class Fee: $125 (payable to CCEE with registration)

  • Optional Credit Fee: 3 CU grad. sem. credit hours, $150. Payable to CU online.
