Environment & the Economy
 This
program for secondary teachers is designed to integrate the economic way of
thinking into environmental science classes. Are there market solutions to
environmental problems? Does society have to make an either/or choice between
economic development and a clean environment? The class includes a full-day
field trip to various Summit County sites that demonstrate how environmental
impacts have been mitigated or eliminated by public and private enterprises.
