Financing Your Future:
Personal Finance in the K-12 Classroom

Here is your chance to give your students the personal finance skills they need to make good choices about many things – from making financial decisions and managing money to staying in school and selecting careers. This unique system of teacher guides, student workbooks, parent guide, and supporting web sites can be used to supplement existing curricula, or as a short-term, stand-alone unit. This class will also preview video and lessons from “Financing Your Future” DVD created by NCEE (Citigroup Foundation grant).

  • Class Fee: $35, Bookcliff Christian School Teachers are free

  • Optional Credit Fee: ˝ CU grad. sem. credit hr., $25

  • Faculty: John Brock, Ph.D., Professor, CU at Colorado Springs; and master teacher

  • Includes: NCEE’s Financial Fitness for Life teacher guide and student workbook, 1 “Financing Your Future” DVD per school in attendance, and lunches.
