Small Sense, Teaching Economics thru Children's Literature Econ 603.1

This engaging program draws upon popular student literature and simulation experience to teach economics. Students are introduced to basic economics -- everything is scarce; that people have unlimited wants; how to make choices; and what is given up when a choice is made (opportunity cost). This literature-based program is highly flexible and provides an excellent setting for teaching reading, math and social studies.
