For
Economics and Social Studies Middle and High School Teachers
Themes in United States
Economic History
 Teachers
will learn how to apply economic analysis and themes to the events of U.S.
History. The main themes will be: indentured servitude, slavery, the great
depression, property rights and westward expansion and development. Economic
mysteries abound in U.S. History. Students, acting like detectives, solve
these mysteries by searching for clues and sifting through evidence to gain
insights for understanding.
